When you want to make sure that your roads are safe, you need the right data to make confident decisions on time. What if you could automate some of these decisions?

The Critical Weather Device Controller consists of a controller module, the Lufft Computer LCOM, which monitors different sensor channels and triggers relays based on user-defined conditions e.g. visibility, friction, road condition. This allows triggering of 3rd party devices such as:

  • Turning on warning lights (beacons).
  • Turning on a siren.
  • Displaying messages on a variable message sign (VMS).
  • Enabling a de-icing system.
